Do you know that you only need to pay RM5.60 instead of RM7 for the Penang Bridge toll if you use Touch N Go?
Actually, there's a little catch to it. For you to get this RM1.40 deduction, you need to REGISTER for a new Touch N Go card AT the Penang Bridge Customer Service Centre located just beside the toll. If you obtained your Touch N Go card from other means, you won't get this discount!
The card costs RM110. It comes loaded with RM100 credit. So, the cost of the card is only RM10.
It is highly recommended for you to register for this card if you use the Penang bridge often, even if you travel to the Penang island (or the other way round) once a month.
For reference sake, a ferry trip to Penang costs RM7. So you won't be able to get a better rate than this tip...
